Product Details

Palissandro Blue Marble is featured by its sedimentary pattern throughout the stone, an intense blue/grey color characterized by luminous light beige veins. The mixture of shades makes Marble Palissandro warm and cold at the same time. Depending on the quarry, the Palissandro marble can have brown veins or grey-blue veins/sections. It is a real treasure of the dolomites, used for five hundred years in palaces, churches or castles. Thanks to its elegance and heterogeneity, palissandro blue is suitable for many different applications and combinations, with other stones as well, for exterior and interior designs.

Observations and recommendations

  • Shades of color and /or granulometry may be present between the different batches and even within the same batch.
  • Some open pores and veins can be filled/masticated in production. Thin open veins and spots may appear after installation.
  • This natural marble is often stuck to a net on the back side which prevents the marble from breakage during transportation and further processing or others.
  • Due to the mineralogical composition, this material is not resistant to acids.
  • Concentrations of minerals and /or veins may appear. These were created during the formation of the marble and are not technical defects. They are part of the material.
