Black Forest Marble

Black Forest Marble, also called Kenya Black Marble, is a deep black dramatic marble with occasional deposits of sparkling green quartz. It has a mysterious and noble black gloss, adorned with ripples of silver with rippling silver to create a sense of standing in front of an evening beach with abundant waves. Silver wave’s striking veining resembles the layered rings of an ancient tree. Due to the qualities of this stone, the black forest marble slabs can be book-matched which means slab one and slab two can be cut and polished to create a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence, which allows for a consistent flow in pattern. Black Forest Marble is one of the most amazing marbles that the earth produces. Since each stone is unique, dimensions will vary upon availability. The average dimension is 2500mm x 1500mm – 3000mm x 2000mm. Tiles or special dimensions can be available upon request.

Thickness

Standard thickness for is 18mm for most of the materials. However, 30mm and other thicknesses may be available upon request.

Finishing

Standard finishes are polished & honed, specialty textured finishes such as leathered, sandblasted and others may be available in stock or as per requests.

Main types for the veins of the Black Forest Marble Slab: diagonal, horizontal, and wavy veining. These textures are unique and curves of varying degrees.
